Top Ten Tuesday: Books I read in School

Top 1o Tuesday is a weekly meme, created by The Broke and the Bookish. Check out their page if you want to learn more about Top 10 Tuesday and find out which are topics for next Tuesdays.

Today’s topic is Back To School Freebie — anything “back to school” related.

I decided that I will share with you ten books that have been required readings when I was in High School. And I actually liked them. Because we all know, that sometimes we had to read the most boring books also.

In no particular order, here is my list:

  1. The Stranger by Albert Camus
  2. Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
  3. Alamut by Vladimir Bartol
  4. The Odyssey by Homer
  5. Brave new world by Aldous Huxley

  1. Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett
  2. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
  3. The Overcoat and other stories by Nikolai Gogol
  4. Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
  5. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Did you read any of this books in High School or later? Did you liked them or not?
